Applications for the YCP Alumni Fellowship are officially OPEN! We’re selecting 15 high school alumni who have completed a YCP program to write, shoot, and produce a short film alongside working industry professionals. Build advanced filmmaking skills through hands-on production, professional training, real sets, and mentorship.

Applications close September 22, 2026.

YCP Alumni Jaylene Garcia, Danna Ponce, and Alex Figueroa recently worked as Production Assistants on YCP Alumni Fellowship mentor Marcella Ochoa’s horror short film, The Hidden, executive produced by Aimee Garcia and starring Mishel Prada, Isabella Gomez, and Jessica Marie Garcia. 🎬

It’s a great example of the YCP network in action, connecting emerging filmmakers with hands-on opportunities to learn alongside industry professionals as they build their careers.
