AGBU Generation Next (GenNext) is a free mentorship program open to middle and high school students in the greater Los Angeles-area who have the ambition and desire to grow personally and professionally. Cultivating meaningful relationships between teenagers of Armenian descent and positive role models, the program helps build confidence, improve academic performance and expand social capital.

Exciting news! AGBU Innovation Studios and AGBU GenNext have joined forces to present TedEd workshops, offering a platform for young minds with groundbreaking ideas. If your child is brimming with innovative ideas worth sharing, this is their chance to shine!

Meetings will convene weekly on Zoom to delve into their unique achievements, inventions, and narratives, culminating in a chance to speak at the main event on June 8th. Participation in this workshop is an invaluable addition to their college applications and portfolios!

GenNext hosted a dynamic event for prospective mentees and provided attendees with valuable insights into our free mentorship program. It was an opportunity for us to familiarize with the diverse interests of mentees, setting the stage for carefully curated mentor-mentee pairings in the year ahead.

GenNext distinguishes itself by offering more than conventional mentorship: one-on-one guidance and exclusive events featuring industry experts in arts, entertainment, technology, and beyond. The program focuses on skill development, emphasizing teamwork and leadership, as well as hosting topic-specific seminars about career development, mental health, civic engagement, financial literacy, and violence prevention.
