Nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe options for families and providers, prevent infant abandonment, and raise awareness about Arizona's Safe Baby Haven Law. The law was put into effect in Arizona in 2001 to provide mothers of newborn babies a safe option to relinquish their parental rights to their babies with no legal consequence. This was put into place with the hopes of saving babies that may otherwise be discarded and endure harm or death.

Safe Haven laws exist to provide SAFE options for parents and babies. In AZ this means a parent may relinquish their baby up to 30 days old to staff at a hospital, fire station, or participating churches, adoption agencies, and child welfare agencies.

Did you know many hospitals in AZ have Safe Haven drawers? These drawers are a safe option for a parent to legally and anonymously surrender their baby.
