In honor of International Women’s Day, SIHVOS would like to honor Commander Christine DeSanti of the Surprise Police Department. She retired from Glendale Police Department after 21.5 years, but she wasn’t done yet and took a commander position with the City of Surprise and has been there for over 10 years. Commander DeSanti has been a Trail Blazer in Law Enforcement being the first female commander at both agencies and has helped countless women to achieve their goals in law enforcement which has always been a male dominated industry. We thank you Commander for your dedication to the citizens in our community and your leadership to women showing them that possibilities are endless!
