One of our new favorite garden projects. This class planted recipe themed garden beds...and we made signs for them. Thank you for a wonderful school year, 4th grade. 💚

We'll have gallon tomatoes, peppers, and some squash at Friday market tomorrow morning, 5/29 @ 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon or until sold out.

Tomatoes: Beefsteak, Brandywine, Cherry, Golden Delight, Yellow Pear, and a few others depending on what we have left.

Peppers: Bell and Banana

Squash: Crookneck / Yellow (possibly a few Zucchini and Pumpkin)

Our annual Coin War fundraiser is running through May 25th! This is a fun class competition and fundraiser to help support school activities, events, supplies, decorations, and more - to include field day on the last day of school! Thank you for your support!

Our 4th graders also have some of their work and creations displayed.

Plant sale update @ Glendale Elementary!

We will have a variety of garden starts: tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, watermelon, pumpkins, strawberries…Flower baskets…And more!

THURS, 5/7 (4:00 - 7:00 PM)
FRI, 5/8 (9:00 - 12:00 Noon)
SAT, 5/9 (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

Compare to the last photos posted to see how well they're growing. The greenhouse is full and students continue to be the best helpers. Funds raised support our school garden, and more. 🌱💚

4th grade students have been busy with reading, writing, and math...but, they have also been busy creating and implementing a Positive Action Group, called the P.A.G. for 4th and 5th grade students, inspired by a book they read in reading groups. They have a garden club, a cleanup crew, and reading buddies going, with plans to help with other school events and activities. So proud of them for working hard and making a difference. ❤️

Kindness Week at our school was one for the books! 💛

Our students:
• Created posters for local community businesses
• Painted kindness rocks to brighten someone’s day
• Collected food for our local food bank
• Showed up BIG to support our HS basketball team 🏀

Watching our kids learn that kindness reaches beyond classroom walls and into our community has been so special.

So proud of the heart in this school. 💫
