💙 Another meaningful Glendale Rotary Club meeting!

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Rich Boccia , Sparr Heights CERT Facilitator and Certified CERT Trainer, for an insightful conversation on emergency preparedness, community resilience, and the important role we can all play in helping our neighborhoods stay ready.

Rich brought a wealth of experience in leadership, education, service, and disaster preparedness, reminding us that strong communities are built through preparation, collaboration, and people willing to step up when it matters most.

Thank you, Rich, for sharing your time and knowledge with our club, and thank you to everyone who joined us today!

We also had the pleasure of officially welcoming Sev Ossipian as the newest member of the Rotary Club of Glendale Noon! 🎉 💙

Today, we had the privilege of delivering the backpacks we recently packed to Glendale Unified 🎒

It was an honor to support local students and families and be part of something that makes a meaningful difference in our community. 💙💛

09/30/2026

It was an honor to volunteer alongside Rotary International, fellow volunteers, and members of the entertainment community at the Rotary Service Social. Together, we assembled 120 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to help students in need—especially those who may lack the resources they need—start the school year prepared and confident. 🎒📚

Education and Literacy are at the heart of Rotary’s mission, and it’s inspiring to see our community come together to expand opportunities for young learners. Every backpack represents an investment in a child’s future and a reminder that access to education can change lives.

Thank you to Rotary International and everyone who gave their time to make this meaningful day possible. Here’s to continuing to support education, literacy, and brighter futures for every student. 💙

💙 What a great club lunch meeting today at the Glendale Rorary Club!

Thank you to our guest speaker Devon Aguirre and to everyone who joined us for another meaningful afternoon of connection, service, and community.

We were proud to recognize Filipino American Business Association and Edith Fuentes as they received Rotary Foundation’s sponsorship of the 2026 Gift of Education Grant Award program, supporting their continued commitment to education, culture, and community impact..

It was also wonderful to welcome new guests to the room and feel the excitement around potential new members joining our Rotary family. The energy, momentum, and growth of our club continue to build — and we are excited for what’s ahead.

Rotary is about service, leadership, friendship, and impact — and today was another reminder of what can happen when great people come together for a greater purpose.
