IZZY IS FIVE. 🌈🦄🎉

And judging by that face, she knows exactly how good this unicorn turned out.

This year, Izzy finished radiation, traveled coast to coast for a clinical trial, and spent far too much time in hospitals. But now she’s back home with her family. So today gets to be about cake, color, and making a very big deal out of our girl.

Only Emilie could name her tumor “Darth Tumor” and keep bringing laughter into the hardest days of her DIPG fight.

Crazy hats. Unicorns. Hulk-smashing. Emilie had absolutely no interest in being ordinary.

She was fun and sassy, wildly competitive, always ready for ice cream, and known to break into spontaneous songs and impromptu dancing like the rest of the world simply needed to catch up.

Nearly nine years later, we miss all of it.

Jaiden never held back. Tough, tenacious, honest to a fault, Jaiden simply told it like it was.

He had a personality that filled every room and a heart that loved just as big. 💛

Even during his battle with DIPG, even at just 9 years old, Jaiden had a laugh that never quit. One that carried everyone in earshot along with him because of his sweet and genuine joyfulness.

Tomorrow, Jaiden would be turning 11. And we know tonight is a tender time for his family ... missing him, remembering him, celebrating the bravery and beauty of this outgoing, outspoken, outstanding little man. Playing his favorite Bad Bunny song, talking about his WWE stars, sharing all the best stories of how hard Jaiden would make them laugh.🌠

Our team is still talking about this bear. ❤️

While our team was in North Dakota for the third annual Golf for Gold, held in memory of DIPG warrior Keaton, our event coordinator McKenna spotted this Spider-Man bear and immediately had to snap a photo.

Keaton loved Marvel superheroes, especially Spider-Man and Captain America. His great aunt made this Spider-Man bear from one of his own outfits. It's such a beautiful little piece of him woven into the day. This is what our chapters do. They love their kids out loud, in every detail, every event, every year.

Keaton, you are still so present in every piece of this.

For Ryland, it was all about “Good Days.”🌟Whether reading about volcanoes, talking about Pokémon, playing video games, being with family.

Even at just 6 years old, Ryland knew how to “level up,” never wasting a moment and living each day to its laughing, loving fullest. Including during his battle with DIPG.

Today is Ryland’s heavenly 8th birthday.💙💚

As TCSN Ambassadors, Ryland’s family fights to raise the funding – often just $6 at a time – that helps other kids facing this aggressive brain cancer have more trials, more options, and hope for a cure. No surprise, Ryland’s community continues to rally at every turn in honor of this amazing boy.

We’re holding Ryland’s family and friends in our hearts today, as they share sweet memories, favorite songs, beloved movies, and all the best knock-knock jokes to celebrate this glorious boy on his heavenly 8th birthday.

Today, this funny, fearless little man would be turning 13, an official teenager. No doubt Keaton at 13 would be just as brilliant and bold as he was at 9 ...

Ready with a brand-new joke, his easy and contagious burst of laughter, and that big, big smile that was impossible to resist.💛

Keaton was a voracious reader, with a knack for getting lost in a book. He was smart and savvy, with dreams of being a scientist. Or a basketball player. Keaton was our very own Captain America, with a heart of gold and the boundless courage to match, battling DIPG with an unshakeable faith as his shield.💪

As our North Dakota (Karing for Keaton) Chapter, his family gathers their community, from golf to dances, to raise research funds to fight this aggressive brain cancer.

We’re thinking of them today, and tomorrow on his angelversary, as no doubt there will be signs of Keaton everywhere. A found penny. A favorite song. A rainbow, if not across the skies, then somewhere unexpected and just as beloved.🌈

There’s a 6-year-old in the house! 🎉 Hey, Julian, happy birthday today!

This little guy is all things amazing (no doubt inspired by his love of everything Spider-Man). He’s battled through surgery, radiation, and now chemo. Always armed with his super-powered smile and full-wattage joy.

Julian’s spirit is big, bold, and so full of love. Mixed with the perfect amount of mischievousness. Julian infuses laughter and light into everyone’s hearts, one of his many gifts.😁

And now this sweet, silly, baseball-loving superhero is turning 6 years old. Let the celebration begin! Happy 6th birthday, Julian! 🦸‍♂️

Today is a Monster kind of day for Waylon. Little man turns 4 years old!!💥🛻🏁

We know our birthday boy enjoyed some sand-filled, off-road monster truck fun on the beach last month (punctuated by his loud, joyful cries of “yeaaaaah” and “whoooooa”!), so we’re guessing the truck-centric fun will continue now that it’s Waylon’s official big day.

Most of all, we hope this day delivers all things extraordinary for our strong, sweet warrior. Mac-n-cheese. Some singing and dancing. Definitely a few trucks and tractors. Maybe something “shark-infested” (we’ve heard Megalodon is a fave).🦈

If you’re celebrating Avery’s heavenly birthday today, it should involve a silly prank or sweet joke she’d immediately want to copy. Avery was the master of mini jests and hidden surprises, quick wit and quiet sarcasm. If the response was “Aaaaverrrrry!” she considered that a win.💪

But Avery’s true gift was compassion. She was empathic and generous and giving and kind. Dedicating herself to finding exactly the right gift for others. Donating absolutely every penny to help someone in need. Snuggling just when you needed a hug.

She was a driven athlete, too, whether shredding bumps or scoring soccer goals. Avery had a way of finding the joy in every action, every moment. Smiling through the tough days of her DMG diagnosis. Teaching everyone around her to simply keep going.✨

This is the legacy her family carries on as Ambassadors and Leadership Partners with the DIPG/DMG Collaborative, helping fund the talent and innovation that will unlock a cure for these aggressive brain cancers. Ensuring that Avery’s legacy packs as big of a punch now as it did when she was 12 years old.

Tomorrow, Zoey would be turning 19. She’d be a young woman. Maybe on her way to a paleontology degree. Maybe dancing for a ballet company. Maybe both.

Even as a smart, sassy 5-year-old, Zoey was positive she could blend her two loves into an unquestionable new kind of stunning career.🦕🩰

Zoey dreamed big. And loved even bigger. Her heart of gold was perpetually overflowing with sweetness and silliness, yet uniquely balanced with calm and confidence. That was just Zoey’s way, even during her battle with DIPG. Poised. Peaceful. Precious.

Her family lovingly refers to Zoey as their North Star. She was always leading the way when it came to both faith and fun. We’re guessing tomorrow there will be song and dance and ice cream cake in her honor.🌟
