Thank you for your service Chief Briggs.

Our Chief Chris Briggs has officially retired, but before he hangs up his badge for good, let's celebrate a HUGE accomplishment! He was named the 2024 Arizona Police Chief of the Year by Arizona Association of Chiefs of Police, which represents Chiefs from agencies all over the state! Thank you for 32 amazing years of dedicated service, Chief Briggs. We’re forever grateful for your leadership and contributions. Wishing you a joyful and well-deserved retirement! ❤️

Honoring Officer Jesse Rodríguez – End of Watch: February 27, 2025

With deep respect, we acknowledge the passing of Officer Jesse Rodríguez, who tragically passed away on February 27, 2025, while off duty. Though we did not know him personally, we recognize and honor his service, dedication, and commitment to protecting his community.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and fellow officers during this difficult time. May his sacrifice and legacy always be remembered.

Rest in peace, Officer Rodríguez. Your watch has ended, but you will never be forgotten.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the death of our brother in blue, 27-year-old Jesse Rodriguez. Officer Rodriguez lost his life in the early morning hours of February 27, 2025 in a motorcycle accident along the 303 freeway.
Jesse has been an officer with Glendale since August of 2022. His service with the city began a year prior when he worked within the water services department. Jesse also served our country as a drill sergeant in the Army Reserves.
Although Jesse’s time with us was cut short, his impact will last well beyond his years of service. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and the young child he leaves behind. Rest in peace, Officer Rodriguez.

🐾 Thank You for a Pawsome Dog Days! 🐶💙

We had an incredible time at Dog Days, connecting with our community and celebrating the strong bonds that bring us together! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to learn more about CPAAG and our mission to build trust, accountability, and collaboration.

It was great to engage in meaningful conversations, meet so many wonderful community members, and be part of such a fun and positive event. Events like these remind us how important community partnerships are in creating a safer, more connected neighborhood.

Special thanks to all who attended for making this event a success. We look forward to seeing you at our next community event!
