🎉 What a SPIRIT day! 🎉

We had a blast unveiling our new PTSA Treasure Boxes for students and staff at the spirit assembly! Attend any PTSA event, earn tickets, and get entered to win at the quarterly pep assemblies. 🎟️

Find us at the Trunk or Treat grand prize table on 10/23 to grab your tickets for the next drawing! 🎃

PTSA also donated prizes for the Coyote Cash prize draw that Mrs. Murray and Mrs. Yanez did—congrats to the winners of the cookie blankets, squishy dumplings, Bluetooth speakers, and more! 🍪🎧

We're also extremely excited to launch a new Volunteer Recognition program! Our first Volunteers of the Quarter are 🥁🥁🥁
Nancy Serrano and Danielle Phillipson! 👏

Thank you, Danielle, for your hard work during Meet the Teacher Night, and Nancy, for running the costume drive! We have the BEST families here at Mountain Shadows. 💙🧡

If you’re interested in volunteering for any amount of time or in any capacity, want to donate prizes, or have an idea for PTSA and want to get involved, send us a message or check the PTSA newsletter for volunteer opportunities!

💙🧡STAFF APPRECIATION LUNCH🧡💙

With the help of a donation from Safeway on 67th and the 101, PTSA members, and supportive administrators, we were able to provide lunch today for our staff that are working hard during parent teacher conferences! 🍗🧇

Thank you to everyone who helped organize, prepare, and provide this meal for our amazing staff!

Our costume drive is off to a great start 🎃 Come pick a free costume as we get ready for our Trunk or Treat on 10/23 and Halloween! We will be by the doors to the cafeteria during conferences today.

Shout out to Nancy for volunteering to wash, sanitize, and steam all of these costumes to get them ready for their new homes!

🧡💙A little extra fun for field day!🧡💙

This week, PTSA helped make Kinder Fun Day and Field Day a little more special! ☀️🎉

We passed out dye-free Otter Pops to our Coyotes! We gave them a cool treat after all that running and playing! 🧊😋 We also made sure students had plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout the events. 💧

A huge shoutout and thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who came out to help us and Coach McCandless make things happen! 💙🧡 We also had some awesome 6th-grade volunteers to help pass everything out! We are so grateful to everyone who helped out!

These are the moments we LOVE. When we can make a Mountain Shadows day just a little more special, we’re happy to be there! 💙🧡

After a late night at Leader In Me last night, we thought a coffee cart was in order to celebrate Dolly day!

Staff members got to pour a cup of ambition from our coffee cart that traveled throughout the school this morning. Our amazing staff works 9 to 5 (and then some) to get the job done! Here’s to a cup of ambition and a team that shines brighter than a coat of many colors! 🦋💖

We love our Mountain Shadows staff! 💙🧡
