Joanieโ€™s commitment to serving others goes back decades. After beginning her work with the YWCA in 1972 and eventually retiring, she didnโ€™t exactly slow downโ€”she continues to volunteer there every day, sharing her time, energy, and heart with others.
Through the years, Joanie has also given generously of herself to our Soroptimist club. She is enthusiastic, encouraging, honest, diplomatic, and always ready to lend a hand when needed. She enjoys connecting with people, meeting new friends, and, most importantly, making a difference.

Since 1980, Alice has been a guiding light in our club. While we know and love her as our past President and dedicated board member, her leadership has touched the entire world. Alice has served with distinction as the Golden West Region Governor, SIA President, and Soroptimist International President. Her passion for lifting up women and girls locally and globally goes above and beyond. But what we cherish most is her spirit. Alice fills every room with positive energy and encouragement. She leads with absolute grace and a kindness that knows no bounds.
