Today weโ€™re celebrating Marcia and the many years she has shared with Soroptimist International of the Kachinas. A Soroptimist member since 2011, Marcia has held several positions within our organization.

A retired teacher and world traveler, Marcia brings kindness, generosity, and an amazing gift for organization wherever she goes. And her organizational skills? ๐€๐ฅ๐ฐ๐š๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐š๐›๐จ๐ฏ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐›๐ž๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐!๐Ÿ’™We are grateful to have her in SI Kachinas.

After retiring from her career at Ponaman Healthcare Consulting in 2025, Janet continues to give her time and talents to Soroptimist and to the work we do to support women and girls in our community.

Joanieโ€™s commitment to serving others goes back decades. After beginning her work with the YWCA in 1972 and eventually retiring, she didnโ€™t exactly slow downโ€”she continues to volunteer there every day, sharing her time, energy, and heart with others.
Through the years, Joanie has also given generously of herself to our Soroptimist club. She is enthusiastic, encouraging, honest, diplomatic, and always ready to lend a hand when needed. She enjoys connecting with people, meeting new friends, and, most importantly, making a difference.
