Thank you to the Glendale Ambassadors for making a generous donation of $500 dollars to Heart for the City Community gatden to the purchase the Az Worm Farm Compost. We enjoyed hosting the Glendale Ambassadors meeting and having them tour the garden.

Harvesting the Cucuzza leaves to make a Sicilian soup is a heartwarming tradition that has been passed down since she was a little girl, inspiring a sense of connection to her heritage. The remaining leaves can be frozen for later use.

Thanks to Rene's Drip Irrigation 101 class, our community gardeners acquired essential skills in operating controllers, appropriate watering of raised beds, and identifying the different components of raised bed irrigation systems.
