Join us for a day of back-to-school support for Glendale families. The first 1,000 school-aged children present will receive a backpack with school supplies, plus free breakfast, haircuts, dental screenings and more!

Independence High School AP Social Studies Club hosted a food drive to support our families and community. Every student pictured is a proud GESD alum—showing how our GESD family continues to give back and strengthen our community!

GESD students were treated to breakfast, a scooter, gifts, and a Dave & Buster’s game card with unlimited play at Glendale’s annual Cops & Kids holiday event. A total of 58 GESD students were invited to participate in the event hosted by the Glendale Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 12, in partnership with the Glendale Police Department.

The team from the GESD System of Care Center helped coordinate student participation as part of the supportive services provided to families and the community.
