Nelli is from Martuni, Artsakh.

The ethnic cleansing of Artsakh by Azerbaijan resulted in the forcible displacement of more than 150,000 Armenians from their ancestral homeland.

Through support from Lorik Humanitarian Fund and the aznavoursaghyanscholarshipfund , Nelli’s university tuition has been covered, allowing her to continue pursuing her education despite the challenges of displacement.

Nelli is one of more than 100 forcibly displaced Artsakh students who have received scholarship assistance this academic year.

Education remains one of the most powerful tools for rebuilding after displacement.

Nelli, a student from Martuni, is continuing her studies with support from the Aznavour Saghyan Scholarship Fund.

She is one of 114 displaced Artsakh students who have received scholarship assistance through the program since its launch earlier this year.

To date, the fund has provided 22,134,950 AMD (approximately $60,600 USD) in tuition assistance, helping students remain focused on their education despite the challenges of displacement.

Behind every scholarship is a student working toward a profession, a career, and a future.

Thank you to everyone helping make these opportunities possible.

Help an Artsakh Family Rebuild Through Small Business

When the people of Artsakh were forcibly displaced in September 2023, they lost more than their homes. Many lost their jobs, businesses, farms, equipment, livestock, and the ability to provide for their families.

At Lorik Humanitarian Fund, we believe that long-term stability comes not only from emergency aid, but from helping families regain their independence.

Through our Small Business Development Grant Program, we provide targeted grants to forcibly displaced Artsakh families so they can launch or expand small businesses, generate income, and rebuild their lives in Armenia.

Over the past year, we have helped fund:

Beekeeping operations
Poultry farming projects
Rabbit breeding businesses
Sewing and tailoring workshops
Home bakeries
Beauty salons and barber shops
Mechanic repair services
Guesthouse improvements
Small agricultural enterprises

These are not large corporate ventures. They are family-run businesses that often provide the primary source of income for an entire household.

What Does a Grant Cost?

Most of our business grants range between 250,000 and 600,000 AMD ($685–$1,645 USD).

Larger projects occasionally require more support, while smaller ventures can often get started with less.

The average grant is approximately 500,000 AMD ($1,370 USD).

For many families, this relatively modest investment can mean the difference between dependence and self-sufficiency.

Our Goal: One Family Every Week

We are launching this campaign with a simple objective:

Fund one new family business every week.

That means raising approximately:

500,000 AMD ($1,370) to support one family
2,000,000 AMD ($5,480) to support four families each month
26,000,000 AMD ($71,200) to support fifty-two families over the next year

Every donation brings us closer to helping another displaced family rebuild their future.

What Your Donation Can Do
$25 helps purchase supplies and materials.
$100 helps buy essential tools and equipment.
$250 can fund a significant portion of a small business grant.
$500 can help launch a family enterprise.
$1,370 can fully fund the average business grant and transform a family's future.
A Hand Up, Not a Handout

Our goal is not to create dependency.

We invest in hardworking families who have the skills, determination, and vision to succeed if given the opportunity. A sewing machine, a set of mechanic's tools, livestock, beehives, baking equipment, or agricultural supplies can provide lasting income for years to come.

Together, we can help displaced Artsakh families move beyond survival and begin building thriving futures once again.

Donate today and help us fund the next family business.

After being displaced from Artsakh, this family from Mardakert is rebuilding their livelihood through poultry farming. 🐔

With young children to support, creating a stable source of income is an important step toward rebuilding their future in Armenia.

Through Lorik Humanitarian Fund’s Small Business Development Program, we provided a grant of 250,000 AMD (~$685) to help the family acquire 100 four-month-old chickens and begin developing a sustainable poultry farming operation.

Our goal is not only emergency aid, but helping displaced families rebuild long-term stability, independence, and self-sufficiency.

This is one of several small business grants already awarded through our growing livelihood development initiative.

June 1st was a special day for many children in Armenia.

Through our Artsakh Tsil Children's Studio in Gyumri, local and displaced children participated in a puppet performance of The Three Little Pigs, showcased their artwork at the «Մենք Կանք» community event, and celebrated International Children's Day together.

We also recently supported the Hayorti Foundation, helping make possible a Children's Day event for children whose fathers were killed during the September 2023 war in Artsakh.

At the same time, our Small Business Development Program continues to expand, with seven grants already awarded to displaced families rebuilding sustainable livelihoods in Armenia.
