In 2014, the non-profit organization, Step by Step: Scholarship Fund for Humanitarian Travel, expanded its mission and its Board of Directors and has become The FUEGO Foundation. The overarching goal of the FUEGO Foundation is to Further the Under-resourced through Education, Growth, and medical Outreach. To aid graduate students in health related studies so that they can serve internationally tho

se with limited health care resources; 2. To increase access by establishing and equipping medical clinics and labs in underserved regions of the world; and 3. To educate health care providers abroad and trainees from the U.S. in the critical health issues found in underdeveloped regions around the globe today.

We are distressed to see our friends, family, and colleagues in Guatemala suffer through the eruption of the Fuego volcano yesterday. We want to report to all of our supporters that our clinics and colleagues in the area are safe. We continue to pray for relief of pains and turmoil for their family and friends more severely affected.
