Roughly 1 out of every 7 people experiencing homelessness in Arizona is a veteran. 🇺🇸
The same men and women who once fought to protect our freedom are now fighting to survive on our streets.
Today, as we honor their sacrifice, let’s remember—gratitude means action. 💭
It’s heartbreaking that those who served this country lack the basic resources to live with dignity. Their livelihoods shouldn’t be threatened by the very system they fought to defend.

As we celebrate today let’s Reflect on Homelessness and Racial Discrimination.
Let’s look at the connection between homelessness and racial discrimination. The statistics are upsetting :
African Americans, representing 13% of the population, make up 37% of individuals experiencing homelessness and more than 49% of homeless families with children. This disparity persists despite the passage of time. Let’s work together to fight the stigma of poverty and donate to those in need!! 💜

Every dollar makes a difference:
