Congrats to our IL-TERT President Heather Butler on this well deserved honor!

Congratulations to our very own Heather Butler for earning the Illinois 9-1-1 Coordinator of the Year! She was recognized at IPSTA, the state 9-1-1 conference, in Springfield on October 21. Heather does an exemplary job on a daily basis to maintain our 9-1-1 system, keep our dispatch centers in good working order, support our telecommunicators with necessary tools and training, provide public education, and represent 9-1-1 interests on various regional and national committees. Join us in thanking Heather for all her good work!

Yesterday IL-TERT presented a session as part of the Illinois Communications Professional Development Series Workshop. We are grateful to ILEAS and MABAS-Illinois for the support they provide our organization and how they have made it a priority to include IL-TERT team members in their trainings.
