Glencoe Community Garden The Glencoe Community Garden is a community-wide service project for people of all ages and abiliite

Glencoe Community Garden is a community-wide service project for community members of all ages and abilities. It will be a sustainable, organic-practicing, food-producing mini-farm and garden and serve local food kitchens, pantries and other charitable organizations. People from all communities are invited to join us in this exciting project! Our Garden will have accessible planting areas for individuals with disabilities and offer a myriad of educational, social action and community opportunities, all are welcome! We have strong support from our interfaith community on Chicago's North Shore, working with members of all the local houses of worship. The project was initiated by Am Shalom in honor of its 40th anniversary celebration. For more information, send us a message here or email us: [email protected]

🌿🌸 Small but MIGHTY at the Glencoe Community Garden! 🌸🌿 What a terrific Wednesday afternoon with New Trier’s Gardiner Funo and her amazing Advisory! After touring the Garden and sampling the peppery leaves and colorful flowers of GCG’s nasturtiums 🌼, these wonderful young women rolled up their sleeves and got right to work! They accomplished SO much in just one afternoon, and we are incredibly grateful for their energy, enthusiasm, and helping hands. 🌱🙌
Thank you for volunteering with us and helping GCG continue its mission of growing fresh produce for those in need. We hope you’ll come back to help out at Pumpkin 🎃 Smash on November 7th and then again this Spring!
