Interested in voter activism, but don’t know where to start? Or, in need of any voting information, and don’t know where to go?

Check out the website https://www.headcount.org/ !

Headcount is a great resource for not only any voter information you may need (state-specific information, finding your polling place, under 18 registration, all kinds of deadlines, etc), but you are also able to register to vote directly from their website! They also have information about how to get involved with voter registration as a volunteer!

Alternatively, if you’re looking to start a voter registration drive of your own, they have a step-by-step PDF guide on how to run a successful school/community voter event! (can be found at https://www.headcount.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Booklet_Final-1.pdf).

Why? We're all for women taking the reins of power and leadership, but how about someone actually prepared for the task?

Are you ready to turn your energy, your enthusiasm, your passion for change into action? We are too!

We are proud to announce the 2018 ACTION plan for March to Action!
We have our eyes on the MIDTERMS!
M2A's goals this year are to defend seats, take seats, and win control in the US House and in the US Senate!

The Illinois Primary is March 20th, 2018.
The General Election is November 6, 2018.

Let's get busy! Join M2A and help us achieve our goals. Here's two ways how:
1. Registering people to vote.
2. Getting out the vote and taking seats for Democrats in Congress!

We have what it takes, we are the majority, we CAN take Democratic Control of the House and the Senate in 2018. So, let's do it!

Like you, we know that WE have the opportunity this November to make huge changes in congress.
There are 34 federal senate seats up for grabs. Dems are defending 26 of these, Repubs are defending just 8. Currently the Republicans, as you know, are in the majority in the Senate. Repubs have 51 seats, and Dems have 49 (two of which are held by Independents.)

Every single federal house seat is open. Republicans as you know are currently in the majority in the House (There are 248 Repubs and 192 Dems).

We can change that!

But, if we don't get people to the polls, we can't do it.
And if we don't get people registered to vote, they can't vote.

Stay tuned here to our FB page for information of upcoming events to register voters and to get out the vote! Also, be sure to follow our instagram (@ marchtoaction) for other updates!
