Rok-A-Vet Because sometimes healing doesn’t look like therapy… sometimes it sounds like music.

ROKAVET is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans through the healing power of music and community. Built on the belief that music is medicine, we connect veterans with live music experiences and a supportive network that fosters connection, combats isolation, and reminds them they are never alone. What started as a grassroots effort is quickly growing into a nationwide mission to create a lasting impact beyond the uniform.

A kayak with every bands signature playing the 4 days of RAWK THE RIVER MUSIC FESTIVAL will be auctioned.

As well as a custom electric guitar signed by all the headliners. Including the entire band of Saving Abel

First of all we want to give a huge shoutout and even BIGGER THANK YOU to Jennifer Polk for setting up, keeping this page up and running and keeping it updated. If it wasn’t for her work we wouldn’t have this page or even know what we are doing for that matter.
This page is going to start getting busier!!! We will be posting videos, pics, event updates, livestreams and more. This page has been growing because of Jen. I believe we are set up for monetization and set up to receive stars, and she has even got us the opportunity to get that little blue check possibly, if so every single penny will go right back into Rokavets account to continue our mission of bringing the joy of live music to our veterans, active duty, first responders and gold star families. This page is for us to talk to our wonderful supporters and to get more engagement because all we can do is go up from here. Thank you all for supporting us in all we do. If you don’t follow this page already then give us a follow and invite friends, family, bands and musicians. Think of this page as ROKAVET the person like our mascot in a sense.

At ROKAVET, we honor them not only in remembrance, but by continuing to build community, connection, and support for the veterans who carry their memory forward every single day.
