We’re already at 30 women signed up, and the momentum is growing! It has been wonderful seeing new faces step up to support our teachers, our classrooms, and most importantly, our students.

WE ARE ON OUR WAY TO 100!!!!

HOW DOES 100 WOMEN STAND FOR STUDENTS WORK?

It’s simple — 100 women. $100 each. $10,000 for our teachers and students!

Each woman who participates contributes $100, and when we reach our goal of 100 women, we’ll have $10,000 to give directly back to GRISD classrooms!

Before the event, GRISD teachers will submit grant ideas for things they would love to provide for their students. Each applicant will also create a short video explaining their idea, how the funds will be used, and the impact it could have on students.
Then comes the fun part! At our luncheon, we’ll watch the teacher grant videos, and YOU get to vote! Each woman will choose her TOP 3 favorite grant proposals.

We’ll tally the votes, rank the grants, and fund as many of the winning teacher grants as the money allows.
100 Women × $100 = $10,000

Your $100 joins with 99 other women’s $100 to make something BIG happen in our classrooms. And the best part? The women in the room decide which grants get funded.
We already have 20 women signed up — only 80 more to go!

Ladies, WE NEED YOU!!!! Please join us for the 1st Annual 100 Women Stand for Students on Tuesday, October 6 at 12:00 PM at Barnard’s Mill.

We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch, connect with other amazing women in our community, and—best of all—select some deserving teachers to receive grant funding for their classrooms and students!

This special event is an opportunity for women throughout our community to come together, enjoy a delicious lunch, connect with one another, and show their support for our local students and educators. Our goal is to bring 100 women together for this meaningful first event and begin a tradition that will continue making a difference in the years ahead.
