HERE'S A LIST OF LOCAL FOOD PANTRY OPTIONS -- We know things may be difficult for some families right now, so we've compiled a list of local food pantries that are open to help those needing a little nourishment to get their family through the week. Feel free to share with anyone you know who needs a little help!

Good morning! Dollar General on Austin road had their freezers go out. Papa’s Pantry needs help picking up groceries and getting into our pantry freezer. If you have a truck and can help please message me at 254-431-1342.

We’re looking for volunteers to help support our local food pantry! 💙
If you have some time to give, we could really use help in the following areas:
IT support
Delivery assistance
Unloading delivery trucks (Mondays after 1 PM & the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the morning)
Backup help for distribution day (every Tuesday)
Front office backup (training provided)
Whether you can help regularly or just step in as a backup, your time makes a real difference in our community.

DID YOU KNOW THERE IS A SOUP KITCHEN EVERY THURSDAY IN STEPHENVILLE?

The Flash recently learned that the folks at the Graham Street Church of Christ host a soup kitchen for anyone in need of a warm meal on Thursdays, from 5:30 until 7 p.m. at the church activity center. Please share this info with anyone who may need it!

Papas was blessed during the icy cold spell by Glen Rose Medical and our local Volunteer Fire Department. They collected heaters and blankets for Papas to distribute to patrons who were without during the cold weather. Its neighbors like them, that see a need and act to help, that really makes our county great. Thank you for all you do! We are Blessed!

Closing due to Weather! Due to inclement weather, Papa's Pantry will be closed on Tuesday, the 27th. We will be open on Wednesday, the 28th.
