Just as a reminder, we are not a rescue as in come one, come all and meet the cats for adoption . This is a mostly a one person run sanctuary for the leftover cats or those with issues that have a low chance of being adopted. It is located on my farm and is basically, a large catio built in the front of my home . In the past I would have welcomed volunteers over 18 to come help clean and socialize
the cats but unfortunately after getting scammed by Jacoby Plumbing, being impacted by the devastation of $70,000 in damages and losses, and his insurance only covering a small portion of that, my Home Owners Insurance feels the cats are a liability and while that is sorted out I have agreed to just keeping it me. The extensive mold, water, and human sewage damage is gone thanks to a grant from Operation Home Front through Wounded Warrior but there is still some work to be done to make sure there is no liability in this old house and repair what was done by he and his crew. I do have some future plans for true catios and a built in porch for meet and greets and adoption outside my home, so to speak, but I am only slowly getting back on track from this major demolition , clean up, and re build that was done to save this house, their home. So at this time NO, we can not take on anymore critters, but I am able to network and help as I can. Any questions just drop me a message.
