This year I will be better at posting activities around my running and fitness activities which are related to RunZennyRun. Did you realize that 80% of resolutions fail because they're way too big, and because we don't figure out a way to actually reach them. Gymshark66 challenges you to do something for 66 days: they say it takes 66 days to form a habit; if you start doing something even 10 minutes a day, it takes 66 days to change you and by starting this now you will automatically incorporate into your daily routine overtime- see you do have time to do this everyday. So everyone join me in doing one item for 66 days in a row - walk, run, lift, jog, take the Stairs, read. Choose anything that will help you feel better about yourself - if you wanting to do something more to help live a healthier lifestyle ask me or join me at the gym -

What is AML?
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a type of blood cancer that starts in your bone marrow. Normally, healthy bone marrow is filled with many types of cells, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. When you have AML, cancer cells don’t die when they should. Instead, they multiply to build up in your bone marrow and eventually crowd out these normal healthy cells.

The symptoms of acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) usually develop over a few weeks, becoming more severe as the number of immature white blood cells increases.

Symptoms of AML can include:

skin looking pale or "washed out"
tiredness
breathlessness
having a high temperature, and feeling hot or shivery (fever)
sweating a lot
losing weight without trying
frequent infections
unusual and frequent bleeding, such as bleeding gums or nosebleeds
easily bruised skin
flat red or purple spots on the skin
bone and joint pain
a feeling of fullness or discomfort in your tummy
swollen glands in your neck, armpit or groin that may be sore when you touch them
Although it's highly unlikely that AML is the cause, these symptoms need to be investigated and treated promptly.
If you have any or all of these symptoms- see your doctor.
Risk Factors for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)
Getting older. AML can occur at any age, but it becomes more common as people get older.
Being male. ...
Smoking. ...
Being exposed to certain chemicals. ...
Being treated with certain chemotherapy drugs. ...
Being exposed to radiation. ...
Having certain blood disorders. ...
Having a genetic syndrome. Clinical investigations show that chronic stress is commonly present in the course of AML and associated with adverse outcome-
Try to live stress free- I know it’s a lot to ask for from anyone!

Exercise matters if you want advice on what you can do or what to tell your friends or family to do- contact me- This is the single most easiest step to help you . Engaging in regular exercise is good for you for many reasons, and one of them is to lower your risk of getting cancer. According to the American Cancer Society Guidelines on Nutrition and Physical Activity for Cancer Prevention, getting more physical activity is associated with a lower risk for several types of cancer, including breast, prostate, colon, endometrium, and possibly pancreatic cancer. Physical activity can help regulate some hormones that contribute to the development of cancer and help keep the immune system healthy.

Regular exercise also helps you stay at a healthy weight, which helps regulate hormones and helps the immune system. In fact, being overweight or obese is a factor in an estimated 14% to 20% of cancer deaths in the US. Losing even a small amount of weight has health benefits and is a good place to start.

Another advantage to exercising is that when you’re exercising, you aren’t just sitting. Evidence is growing that sitting time, no matter how much exercise you get when you aren’t sitting, increases the likelihood of developing several types of cancer, as well as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.
