To help us plan for this event, please complete the International Food Night Form to let us know if you plan to attend and/or if your family would like to contribute a dish that represents your culture.

This event brings us together through food—the universal language that connects cultures around the world. As we share a variety of international dishes, we look forward to meaningful conversations, cultural exchange, and the opportunity to connect with one another in a warm and welcoming setting.

Join us for a special community gathering celebrating Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr! Ramadan is a meaningful time of reflection, spiritual growth, and togetherness, culminating in the joyful celebration of Eid al-Fitr—the holiday that marks the end of fasting and invites us to come together in gratitude with family, friends, and community.

The evening begins with a vibrant community bazaar, free and open to the public, featuring local vendors offering a wide variety of goods.

As the sun sets, join us to break the fast with a delicious halal Iftar meal (tickets available for purchase). Iftar is the meal eaten to break the daily fast during Ramadan. For community members with financial need, a limited number of confidential reduced price ticket are available; please contact [email protected] to inquire.

Also, enjoy the beauty of henna art, fun activities for kids, and an evening filled with culture, connection, and celebration. Special thank you to Chashni Cafe and Qahwah House for sweetening our celebration with their delicious desserts and chai!

It is the year of the Horse and Glen Ridge is celebrating! The event will feature delicious food, student and guest performances, hands-on cultural stations, and an exciting lineup of team games for our community to enjoy together.

Thank the Glen Ridge Education Association for supporting the application for the NJEA PEP Grant, which helps make this event free and open to all. While admission is free, any gifts or donations are greatly appreciated and will help support future cultural programming.
