Poor Household of God

Poor Household of God Poor Household of God is a nonprofit organization devoted to helping the Oikos Sisters serve the poor To God be the glory forever!! Amen!!

In 2008, a group of missioners from the Diocese of Joliet in Illinois and the Diocese of Buffalo in New York, decided to go one step further in helping the poor in Borongan, Eastern Samar in the Philippines. Through the grace of God they came into contact with the Sisters of the Oikos Ptochos Tou Theou Mission, also called The Poor Household of God, while on mission in Borongan and saw how beauti

fully the Sisters were helping the poor. The Poor Household of God 501c3 charitable organization was born in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and now, 10 years later, they continue to help the Oikos Sisters in their mission to be God’s hands to His people in the Philippines. 100% of all donations go right to the Oikos Sisters!! All praise and glory to God for 28 years of lives dedicated to Him and to the service of His poor through Oikos Ptochos Tou Theou (The Poor Household of God)!!

Thank you to the Oikos Co-Workers for committing to another year of humble service and aid to the Oikos Community!! May you be blessed 100-fold!!

And profound thanks to all of you who have supported the Community, offered prayers and time and talent to them over the past 28 years!
