When Mariam's husband died, she struggled to make ends meet. Working to sell tomatoes and taking in laundry did not provide enough income to care for her children and send them to school. When two of her children joined the ministry, her life completely changed. Her daughter graduated with a nursing degree and works in her field, and her son is at .

Mariam appreciates sponsors for their good work and generosity, which gives hope to so many children. She shared the following verse with us, "I lift my eyes to the mountains- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Psalms 121:1-2. Praise God for how he has brought help to Mariam and their children and changed their lives!

During Herbert's visit, Linda, a sponsor and mission team member, hosted a gathering of friends, ministry supporters, and fellow to share about their recent mission trip and about the ministry. Many of the attendees have worked on sewing projects for the , so we were so grateful they could gather and hear about the impact of their work. We thank God for the many ways that people love and serve this ministry!
