Our team had a wonderful time at our care center in Kamapala!

We met with a student in dental school, with one of our graduates (first lawyer!) who is studying for her bar tests, and with a few students. We were so encouraged by their stories of God's work in their lives, and their plans for the future. We enjoyed praying with them, and letting them know how much we and their sponsors love them. It is always a joy to see staff members Maria and John, who faithfully serve our sponsored children in Kamapala. The sun was hot, the traffic was jammed, and the drives were long, but what a day! Praise God for the good work He is doing in Uganda!

Our team arrived safely, we had an easy connection in Brussels, and everything went so smoothly with immigration and customs upon our arrival. We are tired from our late night arrival, but so excited for our first day of ministry!

Uganda bound!

We have a team heading to Uganda today- we would love it if you would pray for smooth travels, especially for our tight connection in Brussels, and for an easy trip through immigration and customs once we land in 🇺🇬.

Our Senior 4 student begin their national examinations on Monday!
Please pray for them as they finish their last minute preparations, and try to get some sleep this weekend. Pray that they will be able to demonstrate their God-given gifts on these tests, and reap the rewards of their hard work.

We asked this to tell us his favorite 3 things about school:

1. It has fed us well
2. It has developed my talent at playing football (soccer)
3. It has enabled me to know God

Food, recess, and Jesus...not a bad list!

This young man also shared that the ministry has given him hope to become and engineer, and to open his own business so that he can employ others and help the needy. We can't wait to see where God leads him in the future.
