Kansas Night Hunters Association

Kansas Night Hunters Association The KNHA stands for the wise use of our natural resources and the conservation of our wild game and their habitats.

Night Hunting is the primary interest of the association, and the ultimate aim is the proper harvest of coyotes with thermal or night vision equipment in a humane and sportsmanlike manner. With this is mind, the KNHA does not hold to the theory that everyone can or should be a night hunter. Quite the contrary, the KNHA stipulates that only persons who are willing to put forth the effort to assure

that the sport will be undertaken in a humane, sportsmanlike manner should attempt to harvest coyotes with night vision equipment. Mission Statement of the Kansas Night Hunters Association

The Kansas Night Hunters Association is dedicated to promoting safe, ethical, and responsible nighttime hunting practices across the state of Kansas. Our mission is to foster a community of passionate hunters who respect wildlife conservation and natural habitats while advancing the sport of night hunting. We aim to educate, empower, and connect hunters with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to pursue their passion, ensuring that night hunting remains a sustainable and safe activity for future generations.

Members of KNHA pledge to follow the Night Hunters Creed. Remember to always hunt safe and follow rules and regulations. We can be the eyes and ears for sportsmen and be sure to report illegal activity to proper authorities.

See something that doesn’t look right in the field?

Operation Game Thief gives you a way to report suspected poaching and wildlife violations anonymously.

Poaching hurts Kansas wildlife, ethical hunters, and conservation efforts funded by licenses and permits. If you witness illegal activity, details matter:
• Location
• Description of people/vehicles
• What you observed
• Date and time

Your information can help protect wildlife across the state.
