48 nations. One ball. ⚽️ The world's largest act of collective hope just kicked off. 🌍

For 39 days this summer, billions of people will stop what they're doing to watch athletes compete, connect, and remind us what humanity looks like at its best.

At Athletes for Hope, this is our moment. Sport isn't just what happens on the field — it's what athletes do with the platform the field gives them.

Which team are you watching this summer?

Last night’s Knicks comeback wasn’t a miracle. It was mental fitness under maximum pressure 🔥 the kind we rarely talk about when we talk about elite sport.

When everything says it’s over, the athletes who keep going aren’t just physically stronger. They’re mentally trained for exactly this moment.

That’s the work. That’s what we champion at Athletes for Hope.

Save this one — because the next time someone tells you mental health has nothing to do with performance, this is your answer.

Congrats to AFH Athlete Leadership Council member Steph Curry on being named one of TIME's 100 Most Influential People in Sports. 🙌✨

And honestly? It's well deserved.

On the court, he changed the game forever — from 18 three-pointers a game league-wide the year before he entered the NBA, to 37 today. An entire sport rewrote its playbook because of one player.

Off the court, he's showing up just as big. The foundation he built with Ayesha Curry has pledged $25 million to close the literacy gap in Oakland's underserved communities.
That's what it means to be an athlete for hope — using your platform, your resources, and your influence to create change that outlasts any championship.

Congratulations, Steph. The game — and the world — looks different because of you.

Shining a light on mental health. 💚

HSLA student Clayton Remen didn’t wait for someone else to start the conversation — he brought Mental Health Awareness games to his high school, where teams wore green tape and ribbons and shared powerful messages about athlete mental health over the loudspeakers.

“The main reason I chose to do this initiative was to raise awareness about athlete mental health. Not only is mental health awareness important in all facets of life, but it is especially important in sports where physical health can often trump mental health.”

This is what student athlete leadership looks like.
Proud of you, Clayton. 👏

Ten years without The Greatest. 🥹🥊

Muhammad Ali didn’t just fight in the ring — he fought for something bigger. As one of the original founders of Athletes for Hope, he believed athletes had the power to change the world.

“Service to others is the rent we pay for our room here on earth.”

This year, AFH turns 20. His legacy is still the blueprint.
