John Carroll Society

John Carroll Society Catholic Professionals in the Archdiocese of Washington The Society is named after the first Catholic bishop in the United States.

Founded in 1951, the John Carroll Society promotes the enhancement of spiritual, intellectual and social fellowship among its members—in service to the Archbishop of Washington. The Society accomplishes this goal principally through a series of events scheduled throughout the calendar year. Most notably, these events include the Red Mass and Rose Mass, for the region's Catholic legal and health care professionals (respectively).
