I Am My Brother

I Am My Brother ABOUT THE INITIATIVE:

Boys and Young Men of Color too often face disproportionate challenges and obstacles to success.

I Am My Brother provides leadership development programs and resources that promote brotherhood and impart the core principles of academic excellence, integrity, accountability, discipline, and service to male youth. MISSION:

I Am My Brother provides leadership development programs and resources that promote brotherhood and impart the core principles of academic excellence, integrity, accountabil

ity, discipline, and service to male youth. These obstacles are found in schools, communities, the criminal justice system, families, and even young people's minds.

“I Am My Brother” is an initiative I Am My Sister launched to support the growth and development of Boys and Young Men of Color. Our goal is to provide programs and resources to help break down barriers, clear pathways to opportunity, and reverse troubling trends that show too many of our boys and young men of color slipping through the cracks in our society.

💚 HOPE STARTS WITH US! 💚

Registration is NOW OPEN for Hope N’ Motion: Walk for Youth Mental Health Awareness! 🌟

Mental health affects all of us—whether it’s a personal battle, supporting a loved one, or remembering someone who struggled in silence. No one should have to walk that journey alone. That’s why we’re walking together.

💡 It takes a village. It takes a community. It takes YOU.
This isn’t just a walk—it’s a movement of hope, healing, and action to ensure that every young person knows they are seen, heard, and supported.
How You Can Be Part of the Change:
✅ Walk with us! Register as an individual or create a team with your family, friends, or colleagues.
✅ Sponsor a walker – Stand with someone on their journey by pledging a donation.
✅ Donate – Every dollar brings us closer to providing mental health resources for youth in need.
✅ Become a volunteer – Be the heart behind the movement.
✅ Be a sponsor – Partner with us to amplify this cause.

🗓️ Date: May 17, 2025 | 9:00 - 1:00 PM
📍 Location: Glen Cove High School Track
🎯 Our Goal: To show up for our youth, to break the stigma, and to walk in solidarity—because no one should have to struggle alone.
