🎒 Free school backpacks for Registered NOSH families — registration is now open.

Every child deserves to start the school year with confidence.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of
Glen Head Country Club and Supplies For Success, NOSH will provide 500 backpacks filled with school supplies for local K–12 students.

If your family is already registered with the NOSH Food Pantry:

âś… Pick it up on August 12 between 4:30-6:30 PM @ NOSH in Glen Cove

You can register in person at the pantry and then complete your backpack registration.

Let’s do some food & kindness math with 3rd grade spirit!

Take 1 School, Rushmore Avenue Elementary in Carle Place + their whole 3rd grade with 5 classrooms + 5 teachers + 1 huge snack food drive + decorating & filling !!!!!479!!!!! snack bags for NOSH Delivers KFIP ( Kids Food Independence Program) + 1 Carle Place District wide Day of Service on Tuesday May 26th when the importance of Service was put into big time action!

đź’Ż% Outstanding kindness and service dedicated to the NOSH children who need breakfast and lunch on the weekends when school is closed but also need snacks!

So, big bonus points added and awarded to the 3rd grade math tally for picking a special project that brightened 479 kid’s days this week by receiving a snack that they don’t always have access to.

We cannot thank wonderful 3rd grade teacher Kasey Gange enough for reaching out to NOSH KFIP to partner on this big day! She organized the whole process from snack drive to decorating and stuffing so beautifully.

NOSH got to meet her class! They are so kind and confident in their commitment to helping others. And as you can see from the photos, they are fun too!
