Super Mario model train display is coming to the Train Garden this year. Does anyone recognize this 3D printed and hand painted interpretation of an iconic and "powerful" scene from 1988?

We may be halfway to Halloween, but at the Train Garden, Christmas magic is already in the works! 🎄🚂

These freshly painted O-scale elves, hand-painted by one of our amazing volunteers, are getting ready for this year’s Polar Express display. Just a small sneak peek of the holiday fun rolling into town this season!

Demolition is officially underway as we begin preparing new displays for the next holiday season! 🛠️🎄

We’re also excited to share that we’ve renewed our lease, ensuring that this special tradition will continue to grow and evolve.

We look forward to building even more magic and continuing to bring joy, wonder, and holiday spirit to our community for seasons to come. ✨🚂

🎄🚂 That’s a Wrap on the 2025 Holiday Season! 🚂🎄

The 2025 holiday season has officially come to a close, and what a wonderful season it was! We were thrilled to welcome countless visitors who came to experience the joy, creativity, and community spirit that make this event so special.

This year’s display featured 18 tracks—including one elevated track and 9 independent displays—along with slot cars and two LEGO displays by Charm City LUG: a LEGO train layout and a standalone LEGO Star Wars scene. Enhanced lighting helped bring every detail to life and made the experience even more immersive.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our community: 9 sponsors, 18 partners, and 32 dedicated volunteers who generously shared their time and talents throughout the season.

We were also proud to kick off the season with a successful community event where participants helped paint 3D-printed figures, with fantastic turnout from the Glen Burnie High School art department and other community volunteers. It was a true celebration of creativity and collaboration.

Thank you to everyone who visited, supported, built, painted, volunteered, and shared in the magic. We’re already looking ahead and can’t wait to welcome you back for the next holiday season! ✨🎄
