It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Peggy Lowe, a longtime and valued member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 40.

Peggy’s many years of membership and support of our Auxiliary will be remembered with gratitude. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched during this difficult time.

May we keep Peggy and her loved ones in our hearts as we honor her memory and her years of dedication to the American Legion Auxiliary.

Ladies,

We are getting ready for our DEC meeting for the Ladies Auxiliary on August 15th at 10:00 AM at Post 40, and we need your help to make sure everything runs smoothly.

We are looking for donations of the following side dishes and desserts: We will be serving approx. 50 ladies. If you plan to bring another side dish please add it to this list.

4 large bags of chips
Macaroni salad
Potato salad
Fruit salad
Desserts
We are also looking for 5 volunteers to help serve and assist with serving. We will start with donuts and possibly another breakfast food, moving on to lunch we will serve sandwiches from Mission BBQ. The meeting usually runs until approximately 2:00 PM, with lunch being served around 12:30 PM.

If you are able to bring a dish, dessert, chips, or volunteer to help serve, please let me know so I can keep track of what we still need.

Thank you all for your continued support and willingness to help. It takes all of us working together to make our Auxiliary events successful, and I truly appreciate each and every one of you!
