Thanks for joining us at Third Avenue Park for the Snowball Social! Here’s how to finish your tie dye project at home:

Take your project out of the bag and lay it out in a place where the dye won’t do any harm.

Allow the fabric to dry completely so the dye can set. Expect it to take 7 – 10 days. Wait even longer if you can. Your colors will be deeper and bolder the longer you wait.

When ready, rinse the shirt in cold water until the water runs clear. (Wear gloves if you have them.) Use an outdoor hose or sanitary tub if possible. If you splash the dye, it might discolor other fabrics.

Carefully remove the rubber bands. If you are using scissors, be sure not to cut the fabric.

Wash the shirt in cold water. Expect more dye to come out of the fabric, so wash it separately or the dye may transfer to other items.

The SnowBall Social is ON! 🍧✨ It’s a hot and steamy evening—perfect weather for free snowballs and tons of fun! Join us tonight, Thursday, June 11th, from 6pm – 8pm (weather permitting) at 3rd Avenue Park. This is a great event for the entire family. We’ll have bubbles, crafts, and free snowballs for everyone. Don’t forget to bring a clean white t-shirt if you want to join in on the tie-dye fun! We can't wait to see you there—and please remember to be considerate of our neighbors while you're enjoying the park!

We are so disappointed to share that tonight’s Snowball Social has to be postponed due to the forecasted storms and lightning. Safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure everyone stays safe and dry!

The good news? The fun isn't over! Please join us tomorrow, June 11th (6pm - 8pm), for our official rain date, weather permitting. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
