Praying for the healing and health of Pope Leo XIV. May God grant him a speedy recovery and restored strength in body, mind and spirit after his recent surgery.

On his third day in hospital, Pope Leo XIV’s doctors say his chest X-ray in the morning shows “good recovery of the lung that underwent surgery.”

The Pope carried his daily activities independently and continues a full range of physiotherapy, as his postoperative recovery progresses normally.

🌟A special thanks and blessing to our fellow Vincentian, Thresa Felix who was recognized at our October 6th meeting for her three years of service as President of the SVDP St Michael Conference. 🌟

Because of her dedication, hard work and compassion of helping others through the SVDP mission, we've been able to assist many people with their rent, utilities, food and other expenses and grow our conference.

💙 As president, Thresa has poured her heart and soul into the SVDP ministry and rolled up her sleeves whether by handling intake calls, managing cases or serving in the Vincent Pantry.

She also managed leadership responsibilities, attended conferences and served as the main liaison with both our Saint Michael Roman Catholic Church pastoral team and St. Vincent de Paul Richmond Council.

As a Vincentian, Thresa will continue to serve on the board as Past President (Ex officio) of the SVDP St Michael Conference.

On Sunday, 9/29/26 at the 11:15 AM Mass, our Vincentians renewed their annual promises at Saint Michael Roman Catholic Church.

🌟 Deacon Andy Cirmo and Father Godfred offered a special blessing over our ministry as the congregation extended their hands in prayer, asking God to strengthen our call to serve.

🙏 “Lord, our Vincentians are in Your presence to renew with joy their commitment to serve in hope.”

💙 May this renewal deepen our faith, guide our hearts, and sustain our mission to bring Christ’s love to our neighbors in need.
