During the summer months, food scarcity is a challenge for many families.

All food donations go directly to our Vincent’s Pantry and help a neighbor who’s working hard to feed their family. Every box of cereal, jar of peanut butter or bag of beans, makes a difference.

Thanks for sharing hope with our neighbors. 💙🙏

Curt Autry Thanks for being the MC at the SVDP Night of Hope held at theJefferson Hotel Richmond on this past Friday evening! We appreciate your support which truly contributed to the success of this annual St. Vincent de Paul Richmond Fundraiser! 💙

NO NEWS FOR ME TONIGHT … at the Jefferson Hotel tonight hosting the Society of St. Vincent de Paul fundraiser for the Richmond Catholic Diocese (it’s the least a former altar boy can do). We raised over $130,000 last year for SVDP’s many charitable endeavors. If you haven’t been to their new thrift store in the west end - check it out! 😇

We had a wonderful weekend at the Mid‑Atlantic SVDP Conference held at the beautiful Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg, Maryland ✨

Representatives from St. Michael’s, St. Teresa of Calcutta, Sacred Heart, and St. Matthew joined together for a meaningful time of learning, fellowship, and prayer. We toured the historic Stone House and White House, enjoyed music in the Basilica, and reflected on the growing crisis of homelessness among older adults. 🙏

A special thank‑you to Dianne Simons, who represented our Society of Saint Vincent De Paul-St. Michael's Conference.

Her heartfelt words captured the essence of the weekend: “We definitely deepened our spirituality, grew in friendship, and prepared ourselves further for SVDP service.” 💙

With summer fast approaching, our Vincent Pantry needs to be replenished so we can continue to serve our friends and neighbors in need. With the increased costs of groceries, food insecurity becomes especially challenging for families with children.

Keep in mind that every donation large or small makes a difference. With every box of cereal, can of tuna, or bag of beans, you’re helping to feed neighbors who are struggling to make ends meet.

Your generosity fills the shelves at Vincent’s Pantry and directly supports families in our parish and community.
