As we celebrate Eid al-Fitr, we are reminded of a Scout’s duty to be reverent and to respect the beliefs of others. This special holiday marks the end of Ramadan and is a time of gratitude, reflection, generosity, and community.

To all of our Scouting families observing Eid, we wish you a joyful celebration filled with peace, kindness, and time with loved ones. Thank you for the many ways you help strengthen our Scouting community through your faith and fellowship.

Eid Mubarak! 🌙✨

As Purim begins, we extend warm wishes to our Scouting families who are celebrating this joyful and meaningful holiday. Purim commemorates courage, faith, and the triumph of hope in the face of adversity.

A Scout is Kind. On this 100th day of school for our Scouts, we are reminded of the small, everyday ways their parents once proved it.

A small, nostalgic reminder that the Scout Law is best lived in the everyday choices we make, especially when no one is watching.

What’s a small act of kindness you still remember from growing up?

Undecided who to cheer for in today’s Big Game? Cheer for the only Eagle Scout playing — Seahawks tight end Eric Saubert. On Scouting’s 116th birthday, an Eagle lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy feels just right!

Eric Saubert became an Eagle Scout in 2012 with the Pathway to Adventure Council. In a 2017 interview, he credited Scouting with giving him a strong moral foundation, teamwork skills, and a supportive environment. And his love of football? That started on Scout campouts.

File this under: “Things we didn’t know Scout camp prepared you for… the Super Bowl.”

Founded in 1910, Scouting America began with a simple but powerful idea: prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes through character development, citizenship, and leadership. For 116 years, that mission has endured because it grows with each generation, meeting young people where they are while staying rooted in timeless values like service, integrity, and community.

Here’s to more than a century of campfires and service projects, merit badges and life lessons, and millions of Scouts who have learned to lead with courage and kindness. The adventure continues, and the impact lasts a lifetime. Happy Birthday, Scouting America! 🥳

Our Cub Scouts spent last Tuesday designing and sanding their Pinewood Derby cars. Lots of creativity, teamwork, and excitement as they prep for race day. We can’t wait to see these cars fly down the track later this month!
