See how we’re honoring traditional food culture, respecting the people who feed us, and building community through meaningful, nourishing work. 🌱🥖
Youth from CATA’s Food Justice Program got their hands in the dough, kneading, shaping, and baking traditional Mexican conchas from scratch! Through this hands-on experience, they learned about the hard work, care, and patience required to make fresh food.
From farmworkers and local bakers to small-business owners, every person in our food system matters. By recognizing the value of their own labor, our youth experienced food justice firsthand.
A special thank-you to for opening your space to us and sharing this wonderful experience with our youth! 💚
