Community is everything

We continue to celebrate our 2024 Impact Report by highlighting one of our fundholders, the Fort Peck Summer Theatre. Constructed in 1934, this iconic theatre brings around 45 productions to life each year.

Board President Melani Vandall emphasizes, “Community is essential. It takes all of us to help this building thrive.”

Funding efforts remain vital. An endowment established with the Montana Community Foundation (MCF) in 1993 continues to grow and support the theater’s endeavors. Additionally, a portion of every ticket goes toward the theater’s maintenance and improvement projects. Over the years, the Valley County Community Foundation and
Nemont Manor Foundation have provided essential grants, supporting initiatives from youth programs to critical repairs. This collaboration underscores the power of local philanthropy: “It’s incredible to see the collective impact,” said Executive Director, Kari Prewett.

We love seeing our grant funded projects come to life! Especially at the hands of other helping community members where the entire community can use and enjoy.

Well done, GPD!

The play set at the Glasgow Police Department is open to the public. We would like to give a shout out to the local boy scouts, especially Scout Thompson for putting together the play set. The area is under 24 hour surveillance audio/video and the community may use the parking lot as a secure area for exchanges with property or children in a parenting agreement.
