If there is one thing we hope every student knows, it's this:

No matter who they are, where they've been, or what they're carrying, they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

That's why we do what we do.

The games, the meals, the laughter, the late-night conversations, the rides to camp, and the leaders who keep showing up week after week all point to this one truth. Every student deserves a place where they belong and people who genuinely care about them.

We can't change every circumstance a young person faces, but we can be consistent in reminding them that they matter—that they are known, loved, and never alone.

One of the most memorable parts of camp is the high ropes course.

Standing on the ground, it can look intimidating. Climbing the ladder takes courage. Taking that first step feels even harder.

But here's the beautiful part: no one does it alone.

There are leaders cheering you on, friends encouraging every step, and a harness that's been there all along, even when it doesn't feel like it.

Life can feel a lot like that.

We all face moments that seem bigger than we are. Moments that require courage, trust, and the willingness to take one step at a time. Sometimes what gives us the confidence to keep going is simply knowing someone believes in us.

That's one of the things we love most about Young Life. We get to walk alongside students as they face life's challenges, reminding them they're not alone. And through it all, we hope they come to know the One who is always with them.

Sometimes the biggest lesson from the high ropes course isn't about making it to the end—it's about discovering that you were never climbing by yourself. ❤️

Ever wonder why Young Life spends so much time playing games?

At first glance, it might look like we're just being silly. And honestly...we are! 😊

But the games are about so much more than having fun.

They help break down walls. They give students a chance to laugh together, step outside their comfort zones, and feel like they belong. They create shared experiences that turn strangers into friends and make it easier for a new student to come back the next time.

When the games end, something even more important begins.

Students gather around a meal, listen to a message, and spend time in small groups where real conversations happen. Questions are asked. Stories are shared. Relationships grow.

The laughter isn't separate from the mission—it's part of it.

Every game, every shared meal, and every conversation helps create a place where students can know they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. ❤️

They’re back from camp! 🎉🙌

Our hearts are full as we welcome our campers home from what Young Life calls “the best week of their life.” We can’t wait to hear the stories—the adventures, the laughter, the friendships that grew stronger, and the ways God was at work throughout the week.

For now, we’ll give them a minute to catch up on sleep, unpack their bags, and recover from a week packed full of fun and memories. 😄

Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, volunteered, and supported these students. Because of your generosity, kids had the opportunity to step away from the everyday, build meaningful relationships, and experience just how deeply they are known, valued, and loved by God.

Stay tuned—we can’t wait to share some camp stories soon! ❤️🏕️✨

Tomorrow is the day! 🎉

Our group heads to camp, and we could not be more excited for what’s ahead. Over the next week, these students will step away from the distractions of everyday life and into a place filled with fun, adventure, friendships, and opportunities to grow.

Would you join us in praying for them?

🙏 Pray that this would be the best week of their lives.
🙏 Pray that they grow together as a group and individually as young people.
🙏 Pray that they leave knowing without a doubt that they are fully seen, deeply known, and completely loved by God.
🙏 Pray that any apprehension, tension, anxiety, or trouble would be lifted from every student and leader, making room for joy, peace, and meaningful experiences.

We are so grateful for everyone who has supported these kids and helped make this week possible. We can't wait to see how God moves in their lives and hear the stories that come back with them. ❤️

🎓 Congratulations, Christian! 🎓

As we celebrate your graduation, we're so thankful for the opportunity we've had to walk alongside you during this season of life. Watching you grow, learn, and take steps forward has been a privilege.

One of the greatest gifts of Young Life is the relationships between kids and leaders. Leaders invest their time, energy, and hearts into students because that's exactly what God has done for us. His love is personal, intentional, and present—and we strive to reflect that same love in the lives of the young people we serve.

Christian, we're grateful for the time you've spent with us and excited to see what God has ahead for you. Congratulations on this incredible milestone! We're cheering you on as you begin this next chapter. 🙌🎉

🥞❤️ Camp season is almost here, and we’ve loved partnering with churches across our community through our pancake breakfasts!

The generosity we’ve experienced from the people at each church has been incredible. Thank you to everyone who has come out to eat, donate, encourage, and support local kids. It has also been a joy to serve alongside our students as we work together to help make camp possible.

We never want finances to stand in the way of a kid experiencing camp and hearing the life-changing truth that they are known, valued, and loved by God.

We have one more pancake breakfast this Sunday at Gladwin Assembly of God! We’d love to see you there as we finish strong and continue helping send kids to the best week of their life. 🏕️💙🥞

Thank you for helping make camp possible! 🙏🏻✨
