Call 989.426.4661 to make an appointment The Sacred Heart Mission serves residents Gladwin County to assist or to connect clients with agencies if we can’t assist. The Mission gives you a HAND UP if you’ve fallen into need with discreet intake and connection to other agencies including employment opportunities. Assistance includes:
Food Pantry | Utilities | Heating |

Auto Repair | Medicine | Emergency Assistance
ALL assistance is restricted to Gladwin County residents. There are specific requirements for assistance-call for more information. 989.426.4661

All assistance requests (except food), require a DHHS. SER State Emergency Request Decision letter. The Sacred Heart Thrift Store has clothing, limited furniture and household items at very reasonable prices. There are treasures to be found, clean clothing, antiques, new items, holiday decor, and much more available for sale. 100% of the proceeds from these sales support our Food Pantry and assist local residents of Gladwin County who are in need. DONATIONS ACCEPTED DURING THESE TIMES:
Mon-Thurs 9-2 Friday 9-1
Our volunteers work hard during these times and leave to go home. Please adhere to these times- we won’t have the people to accept donations after these hours. Items needed:
FOOD | CLEAN LAUNDERED CLOTHING | HYGIENE ITEMS | MONETARY | FURNITURE(call before coming with furniture due to our space limitations)

Clean Clothing 2-3 kitchen size garbage bags PER DAY donations.

Thank you to our community members who donated a bag of food at your mailbox today during the USPS STAMP OUT HUNGER FOOD DRIVE.

Thank you to Dave, Jacob, John, Jeff, Matt, Josiah, Karen And the post office workers who helped us load a trailer and a truck with food! Thanks to the aforementioned and others for helping unload it all at the mission too!
Phil for picking up and delivering the rest on Monday for us.

The Big Boy Club Members for coming in to sort everything and load on our shelves!

These donations will help with our food assistance which is approximately 300+ families per month. Thank you all!!

The rising costs of food affects our pantry and our ability to provide food to those in need living in Gladwin County.
