On May 6th, NKC-NEA celebrate the achievements, dedication, and impact of these outstanding individuals. Our scholarship winners represent the bright future ahead for these aspiring educators, and our retirees leave behind a lasting legacy of service, leadership, and commitment to students and public education. We’re proud to share that NKC-NEA President, Amanda Bearden, this past Tuesday presented the newly ratified Collective Bargaining Agreement to the North Kansas City Schools Board of Education.

This agreement reflects months of collaboration, advocacy, and a shared commitment to supporting educators and strengthening our schools by CTTN. We are grateful for the voices of our members, the dedication of our bargaining team, and the partnership with district leadership throughout this process.

Together, we’ve taken an important step forward in ensuring our schools remain strong, supportive environments for both staff and students.
