Scouting is a year-round program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys and their parents. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development, citizenship, and physical fitness. Service projects, ceremonies, games, and other activities guide boys through the core values and give them a sense of personal achievement. Through positive peer group interacti

on and parental guidance, boys also learn honesty, responsibility and respect. Family involvement is an essential part of Cub Scouting, and parents are encouraged to play an active role in the program. Through interaction with parents, leaders, and friends, boys learn cooperation, compassion, and courage. This family and community-centered approach to learning means that Scouting is truly time well spent.

We proudly celebrated three Scouts from our 354 family at an Eagle Court of Honor: Rori Cailin Gates, Lilly Ann Sticken and Braxton Lee LeBlanc.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate their accomplishments and recognize this milestone as a launchpad for even greater things ahead. We also appreciate everyone who helped make the ceremony special.

A special thank-you goes to our keynote speaker, Angela Halies, Healthcare Market Director at Genentech, for sharing an inspiring message with our Scouts as they begin the next chapter of their journeys.

Happy 4th of July from Troop 354! 🇺🇸

Happy Independence Day to all our Troop 354 Scouts, leaders, and families! Today, we celebrate the freedoms that make our nation great. As Scouts, we honor these gifts by living out the Scout Oath and Law every day—showing loyalty to our country and serving our community. Whether you are camping, watching fireworks, or enjoying a backyard barbecue, please stay safe and look out for one another. Have a wonderful holiday, and we look forward to seeing everyone at our next troop meeting!

Day 9 of the 10-day Bartle survival challenge.

The Scouts are tired. The adults are tired. The slushie machines have been pushed beyond their intended limits. Morale remains surprisingly high (sort of), mostly because everyone can now see the finish line—and their own beds.

Today’s mission: complete any unfinished merit badges, clean the campsite, and pack everything for tomorrow morning’s evacuation. At this point, nobody knows which socks belong to whom, but honestly, survival sometimes requires sacrifice.

One more night. We’re almost home.

The chaotic 10-day Bartle adventure is well underway! The slushie machines at the Trading Post have been working overtime, everyone keeps asking for more money—even after scheduled bank hours—and the unfortunate duty of cleaning the “lollies” (bathrooms).

There’s been quite a few Eagle Service projects in the works.

Congratulations to Tanner Leck on completing his Eagle Scout service project for Turning Point!

Tanner and his crew built a bench and two planter boxes, measuring, cutting, assembling and staining each piece. Their hard work created a wonderful addition for the organization.
