💙 Who We Are: Gladstone Seniors Foundation 💙

The Gladstone Seniors Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting programs, services, and experiences that enhance the quality of life for seniors and community members who gather at the Gladstone Community Center.

Through generous donations and community support, the Foundation helps fund special events, programs, and improvements that make the Community Center a vibrant place to connect, learn, and celebrate.
Some of the ways the Gladstone Seniors Foundation supports the community include:
🌷 Funding special celebrations like our annual Mother’s Day event
🍂 Helping provide holiday meals and gatherings such as Friendsgiving
🎭 Supporting cultural events and enrichment activities that bring people together
📺 Purchasing equipment that benefits programs, like the new large-screen TV used by our senior chair exercise group
🏡 Supporting improvements and additions that enhance the Community Center experience for everyone like the fenced in garden project in front of the building and the new Community Center sign!

The mission is simple but powerful: to enrich the lives of seniors and strengthen the sense of community at the Gladstone Community Center.

📣 We’re back!
Hello, friends and neighbors of Gladstone — the Gladstone Seniors Foundation is excited to relaunch our page and invite you to follow along as we continue our mission in our community.

🏡 Who we are
The Gladstone Seniors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting older adults in the City of Gladstone. We were established in 2004 as the charitable arm of the Gladstone Community Center, providing ongoing support for activities and programs that benefit seniors.

✅ What we do every day

• Host signature events like our Friendsgiving, Holiday Dinner, Mother's Day, and our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration.
• Offer community-wide programs such as the “Minidoka Swing Band” event.
• Support seniors at home through our “Handyman/Smoke Detector Campaign” for homebound older adults.
• Offer support for homebound older adults' needs.
