These 1st Graders are growing green beans!🌱 We sang a parts of the plant song🎵, planted green beans, & read "Tops and Bottoms." (That's the 1st book I purchased when I graduated from college.📚) I love the teeppee they're creating. Can't wait to see it when it's full!

I visited the pre-K classes at Coles Ferry Elementary to talk about gardening!👩🏽‍🌾 We sorted items into things needed to start and take care of a garden.When I entered the 1st class, there was a poster of their crazy garden which had 🍕,🍰, & 🍨 in it.😄 The next day, they reviewed what they needed for the garden. Great job pre-K!

The kiddos got really creative with making their pine cone owls! They were so cute! I encouraged them to go outside as much as possible, even when it's cold. I hope that some of them come up with some new ideas of crafts to make out of things you find in nature. Thank you for helping us collect pine cones!
