⚾🥎 WE NEED YOU — HELP KEEP Glade Area Little League GOING! 🥎⚾

Little League is about more than just baseball and softball—it’s about giving our kids a place to learn, compete, make friends, build confidence, and create memories they’ll carry with them for years.

None of that happens without parents and volunteers willing to give a little of their time. Whether it’s helping on the field, coaching, working the concession stand, keeping the scorebook, helping with equipment, or simply lending a hand when needed, every volunteer makes a difference.

🏆 WE ESPECIALLY NEED BOARD MEMBERS! 🏆

As we prepare for our October 4th meeting, we need parents and community members who are willing to step up and help lead Glade Area Little League Baseball & Softball.

👉 We need a minimum of 7 people willing to serve on the Little League Board in order to have a league.

Being a board member is a great way to have a direct impact on our league and help make decisions that benefit all of our baseball and softball players and families.

You don’t have to know everything about baseball or softball. You don’t have to be an expert. We simply need people who are willing to work together, give their time, and help make the league successful for our kids.

📅 ANNUAL BOARD MEETING

Sunday, October 4th, 2026
🕒 3:00 PM
📍 Glade Spring Farmers Market
(115–100 Town Square St)

We are asking everyone to please consider attending and getting involved. Even if you can only give a little of your time, it can make a huge difference.

Our kids deserve a league where parents and community members are willing to step up and make it happen. Baseball, softball, and our kids need you! ❤️⚾🥎

We need at least 7 board members. We hope you’ll consider being one of them!

Hello,

Due to the limited number of members who were able to attend today’s annual board membership meeting, we will need to reschedule the annual board membership meeting for Sunday, October 4th, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Dunn Field Press box.

It is very important that we have enough people willing to serve on the board in order to continue operating the league. We need at least 7 individuals willing to serve on the board in order to have a league for the upcoming season.

If you are interested in helping the league and being more involved with our players, please make plans to attend the rescheduled meeting. These positions require time, patience, and a willingness to be there for all of our kids.

We hope to see everyone there and would greatly appreciate anyone willing to step up and help keep Glade Area Little League going.

Thank you,

Glade Area Little League
