Canteen will be closing at 7pm due to an early morning commitment

On Memorial Day, members of Post 309 fired over the graves of fallen service members at St. Josephs and Wildcat cemeteries.

At 1000 we held a small service at our Post and then served as the Honor Guard for Mahanoy Planes Memorial Day service.

Due to the inclement weather the parade for today is cancelled. We welcome everyone to come to the Legion Post on Main Street for a ceremony at 10am

In the event of inclement weather, there will not be a parade. A small ceremony will be held at the post instead inside. 122 west main street. The ceremony will begin at 1030 if this is the case.

The Legion will be closed this weekend in observance of Easter. Normal hours resume 4/10.
