Coming into town from the North, South, East, or West, the Girard History Museum wants your visit! To that end, wonderful large clear signage has been made, permissions sought, and we hope soon to be a ‘sign’ for you into Girard that fills your vision with ‘sunny yellow’ thoughts to come see us.

By the way, we have a game you can play! We created a scavenger hunt ‘Treasure Hunt’ fact game that functions inside our ‘first’ building, the former church located at 300 S. Summit Street. My fifth grade grandson completed it and really enjoyed it. Those who successfully complete the hunt will receive a certificate of completion.

While you are here at the museum, perhaps you would like to be a ‘fact provider’ for us? When you come, after signing in at our office, located in the building adjacent to the church, look at our wonderful selection of photos. Help us identify folks in them. We would LOVE that.
