The Public is invited to the GADC's 4th Giltner Veterans Day Program! This year our theme is: World War II. There will be a
special presentation of this past summer's Military Burial of Giltner son Lyle Reab-killed in action in 1944, a Naval Ammunition Depot video presentation and the military funeral demonstration of the "13 Folds" of the American flag. Please join us on November 10th!

Forgot to mention that we had 14 entries for our Giltner Halloween Festival Decorated Pumpkin Contest. It was a great turn out! And we had the best Judges, sisters Steph Lemburg and Marta Charlton. These gals LOVE Halloween and we’re impressed with the entries! Thank You EVERYONE that helped that night!

This Saturday, Oct. 23 is the Giltner Halloween Festival! Be sure to get your pumpkins decorated for the GADC Decorated Pumpkin Contest! Bring your decorated pumpkin entry to the Giltner Community Center between 600-645p.m. to be entered in this cash prize contest. Winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) will be announced at 7 p.m. SHARP!

The GADC is proudly supporting the Giltner Halloween Festival by sponsoring a Decorated Pumpkin Contest for ALL AGES! Cash prizes are being offered for your carved, painted and decorated pumpkin at 7 p.m. SHARP on Saturday, Oct. 23rd at the Giltner Community Center! Please don’t be late and miss out on this fun and friendly competition!

We are also sponsoring a Trick or Treat table to help support a fun night for our Giltner community Halloween Festival.

Here are the Santa Elves helping with the Santa Treat Bags for Giltner Public School!

Santa and his Elf visited the Giltner Elementary Students on Dec. 7 by visiting each classroom through their classroom windows. Then he visited the doorway of the junior and high school students! Santa Treat Bags were handed out to ALL students and Staff!

(The GADC helped Santa with those bags and would like to thank Aurora Mall for the apples, Le-Vi Popcorn for the popcorn bags, Rath Cafe for coupons for the 7-12 bags, both Giltner Bar and Grill and Sit N Bull for coupons for the Staff and the Giltner State Bank provided an Elf Workshop so the GADC could assemble the bags!). Santa says THANK YOU TO ALL that helped with this project!

The weather was so nice so Santa visited many Giltner businesses and many older Giltner residents while spreading joy and cheer throughout the community!
