It's not too late to register for Wednesday night's program: Free Virtual Lecture: The Civilian Conservation Corps in New Hampshire.

As a flagship program of the New Deal, the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was one of several federal programs that turned to the natural and built environment to help strengthen social and cultural unity throughout the Great Depression. James Fortuna, a visiting scholar at Columbia University, investigates the CCC’s role as an agent of national transformation., with a specific focus on New England.
