What was the first series that got you interested in reading? The adventures of Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny of the Boxcar Children got me hooked on my first chapter books! Now, I get to relive the excitement as my child reads the same series!

This magazine could be yours! The Gilroy Library is getting rid of 238 old issues of National Geographic magazines, with dates going as far back as 1910! The Friends of the Gilroy Library is helping the library find a good home for these treasures.

Full disclosure: these magazines are bound togther and have the usual labels libraries affix to all their materials.

If you're interested, come by the book store and take a look!
